Looking for a Christmas family day out everyone will love? At Cattle Country it’s all about seasonal fun, magical moments, and memory-making adventure. From decorating gingerbread and exploring the farm to meeting the big man himself, there’s so much to see and do.

This is more than a chance to meet Father Christmas, it’s a full festive experience. From our immersive gingerbread factory to posting letters to the North Pole and picking up a few treats along the way, it’s a relaxed, joy-filled day that has been designed to delight. .

Meet Father Christmas

Wander through our enchanting Christmas barn, filled with twinkling lights and magical photo opportunities at every turn. Mix up your own reindeer food to leave out on Christmas Eve, then step into our cosy, sparkling grotto for a truly unforgettable festive moment. Each child will enjoy a personalised chat with Father Christmas, share their Christmas wishes, and receive a special gift.

Gingerbread Factory

Brand new for 2025, join our elves in their kitchen for a hands-on gingerbread decorating experience. Follow their guidance to create your own treat to take home and enjoy. While kids get creative, the grown-ups can relax and savour a special festive treat of their own.

    Marshmallow Toasting

    Cosy up by the crackling firepits for a yummy treat! Each child gets marshmallows to toast, golden or gooey, their choice. A fun way to warm chilly fingers!

    The Elf Post Room

    Step into our charming Post Room to write and post letters to Father Christmas. Once dropped in our magical red post box, the elves take it from there, with guaranteed reindeer delivery straight to The North Pole.

Our magical Christmas event sells out quickly, so don’t miss out! You can also save £2 per ticket on our opening weekend (29th & 30th November).

The time slot you select below is your entry to the North Pole, where you’ll meet Father Christmas but feel free to arrive at the park from 10am. We’ll be in touch closer to your visit to finalise your personalisation details (we know how often children’s favourites change!) and to book your Gingerbread Factory slot.

Christmas FAQs

  • Sorry, there is no waiting list and we do not hold additional tickets on the gate.

    If tickets become available they will automatically show on the booking form above.

  • 🎅 The time on your booking is your North Pole entry time

    🐮 Your tickets include entry to the park from 10am.

    👨‍👩‍👧 Each time slot is shared with other families waiting to see Father Christmas, so there will be a short queue at all times. Our Elves will do their best to stick to the timings stated, please be patient if Father Christmas falls a little behind schedule!

  • Our Farm Park is fully accessible, find more information here.

    If you have any questions or need assistance during your visit please speak to a member of our team - they will be very happy to help.

  • About a month before your visit, we’ll send you an email to collect your Father Christmas personalisation details.

    Now, you might be wondering, why don’t we just ask for this when you book? Well… because kids change their minds. A LOT! We like to make sure Father Christmas has the most up-to-date info before he meets them.

    When you do receive the form, just keep it short and sweet, Father Christmas is magical, but he’s not a very fast reader!

    If you’d rather not personalise your visit that’s fine, you’ll still get a lovely visit and special gift.

  • We’ll be in touch about a month before your visit so you can book your Gingerbread Factory slot.

    If you don’t pre-book, we can’t guarantee you’ll be able to take part so it is important you choose a time slot.

    Also, a quick tip: we’re a big site, so it’s best to leave a bit of breathing room between your Father Christmas visit and your Gingerbread Factory time to avoid any festive dashes across the park.

    Please note, this activity is for children only.

  • 🎁 If you would like your baby to meet Father Christmas and receive a gift, please book a child ticket.

    Babes in arms are welcome to attend the event and to visit Father Christmas alongside their other siblings (who have child tickets) for free. In this case, please add a 'Baby' ticket to your booking.

  • No, we don't have a photographer in our Grottos but you are very welcome to take your own photos or enlist one of our elves to take some for you.

    👷‍♀️ On occasion, a photographer will be on site to capture some magical moments for us to use in future event promotion. They will always be wearing high vis, please let them know if you'd prefer not to be included in promotional images.

  • The Cowshed, The Slide Barn, Outdoor Play , The Sand Barn, Jumping Pillows, Adventure Castle, Trampolines, Mini Golf and Marshmallow Toasting will all be open.

    🐮 The Animal Barn and Farm Trail will be closed all day.

  • Lots of our activities take place outside, so while there are plenty of opportunities to warm up under cover, please dress for the weather. Warm clothes and sturdy footwear recommended.

    Please have your tickets ready to display on your mobile device to speed up entry.

  • We are unable to offer refunds, but will be happy to convert your booking to standard Cattle Country tickets.

    Please request this at least 7 days before your booking by emailing info@cattlecountry.co.uk, quoting your booking reference.

  • As a rule, we will not be able to swap your Grotto time slot on the day.

    However, if you speak to a member of the team when you arrive, they will check availability for the rest of the day to see if they can help.
