The purchase and use of tickets will constitute acceptance of these Terms & Conditions by the ticket purchaser and all visitors in their booking. Cattle Country Farm Park reserves the right to change these terms & conditions at any time. View our useful Park Information
For visitors purchasing tickets in person from Admissions rather than online, a copy of these Terms & Conditions is available to view in Admissions & our Gift Shop
Tickets
Tickets are available to purchase from cattlecountry.co.uk and from our on-site admissions desks only
Tickets purchased at Admissions cost £1.50 more per ticket than the online price for that date & are subject to availability
Tickets are valid for the date stated only and can only be used once
Disabled Visitors requiring a Carer: The support needed must exceed what could be reasonably expected of family/friends already accompanying you, due to disability-related needs. A free Carer ticket can be added to your booking on arrival on presentation of one of the following documents and your carer must be aged 18 or over
Access Card with a +1 symbol
A letter from a GP or consultant confirming the need for a full-time carer, dated within the last 12 months
You are not permitted to enter the park without a valid ticket. CCTV is in operation throughout the site
All charges include VAT
We do not offer any further discounts (Group, Blue Light, NHS, Military and so on) on our tickets
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Any change in price will not affect any bookings which have already been paid for in full at the time that the change in price becomes effective
General
The attractions and play equipment on offer can vary throughout the year and some attractions may need to close temporarily. This may be during very hot or wet weather to comply with health & safety requirements, for routine maintenance or to ensure safe staffing levels.
We endeavour to have as many attractions open as possible. In the event of attractions or play equipment being closed no refunds will be given
Cattle Country Farm Park is a no smoking/vaping site: Smoking (including of e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited other than in the designated smoking areas identified in our Car Parks. Any visitors that repeatedly need to be reminded of this by our staff will be asked to leave
You are welcome to bring a picnic into the park but portable BBQs are not permitted in any area
Picnics must be eaten on the outdoor benches provided and not at Graze Café (indoor or outdoor seating) or any of our other indoor areas including but not limited to The Cowshed, The Slide Barn, The Animal Barn and The Sand Barn. Any visitors found eating picnics in any of these areas will be asked to move to an outdoor picnic bench, and no exceptions can be made
Visitors are not permitted to bring alcohol into the park, any visitors who appear to be intoxicated will be asked to leave immediately
Please respect our staff and other visitors: Intimidating or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated
We are only able to allow assistance dogs that have been trained or are being trained by a charity that is a member of Assistance Dogs UK, this is because they have been trained to perform certain tasks for their human partner and will have been thoroughly assessed to ensure they are not a risk to members of the public or other animals on our farm. No other dogs are permitted
Vehicles and their contents are left at the owners’ risk
Photography: Throughout the year we have photographers and videographers in the park, capturing content for our website and marketing. They will always wear a Cattle Country branded high viz jacket and make their presence known to adults and children before taking any photographs. We understand that some adults and children would prefer not to be photographed, if this is the case please just let the photographer know. By allowing your group to be photographed you consent to those images being used for marketing purposes by Cattle Country Farm Park.
Clothing & Footwear
It is the responsibility of all visitors to ensure that they are dressed appropriately, wearing clothing appropriate for the activities on offer and which they do not mind getting damaged
Cattle Country Farm Park will not be responsible for any damage to or loss of clothing or other personal items. Personal possessions are brought into the park entirely at the owners’ risk
To avoid injury on slides, visitors should wear clothing that covers their back, thighs and upper arms
Clean socks must be worn at all times in The Cowshed and The Slide Barn
Please do not wear belts, jewellery or other sharp items of clothing that may cause damage to yourself, the equipment or other visitors
Please wear sensible outdoor footwear and remember that many of our attractions are outside
Shoes must be removed before entering The Cowshed, The Slide Barn, The Sand Barn, Trampolines & Jumping Pillows
Safety - The supervision of your children is your responsibility
The person making the booking accepts responsibility for the safety and supervision of everyone within their booking and must ensure that they are made aware of these T&Cs, particularly those relating to clothing and footwear
All under-18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult and be supervised at all times
We do not allow groups of teenagers into the park without adequate adult supervision from a parent or guardian. The attractions on offer are aimed at children aged up to 12 years old, and their families
Safety signage is in place throughout the site and must be adhered to. You must assess the suitability of play equipment for each child before use, and adhere to the rules for each attraction
Our staff will not supervise children, regardless of age or ability, at any time
Any adults that repeatedly need to be reminded of their responsibility to supervise children by our staff will be asked to leave
For visitors under the age of 18, or those who lack capacity, a parent, guardian, responsible adult or carer is required to understand and acknowledge these T&Cs and on-site safety signage on their behalf
Adults are permitted to enter play equipment when supervising their children but must adhere to the rules for each attraction and not encourage or demonstrate unsafe or risky behaviour
The play equipment at Cattle Country has been designed to be enjoyed by children, so adults and older teenagers must assess the suitability of equipment based on their height, weight and physical ability before entering. Adults using the play equipment do so entirely at their own risk
Use of play equipment is not without risk as misuse or not adhering to safety signage or instructions could be fatal. You and all visitors within your booking voluntarily assume and accept all such risks and irrevocably waive the right to sue for any personal injury or fatality, and agree to adhere to the on-site safety signage and instructions from staff
Nothing in these Terms is intended to nor shall limit the liability of the Cattle Country Farm Park in respect of personal injury caused by the negligence of the business or its staff
Cancellations, Transfers & Refunds
Tickets will only be refunded if the park is closed unexpectedly by the organiser and not under any other circumstances
We do not offer refunds on partially-redeemed bookings
Tickets are not normally transferable. However, if your group is unable to attend and you contact us before 10am on the day of your scheduled visit (info@cattlecountry.co.uk) we will look to reschedule your visit within 14 days. Rescheduling your tickets is subject to availability. Any requests to reschedule received after 10am will not be considered, sorry
If you make a mistake, and have booked for the wrong day please email info@cattlecountry.co.uk within 24 hours of making the booking and our team can help to rectify, subject to ticket availability
Group Bookings
If tickets are bought on behalf of other guests, the buyer accepts these conditions of entry on behalf of every guest within their booking, and shall ensure that these Terms & Conditions are complied with by each person in the group. The buyer is also responsible for ensuring that all members of the group familiarise themselves with on site safety signage and instructions
The supervision of the children in your group is your responsibility, and as such the adult to child ratio must be appropriate for the age and ability of the children within your group
If you’re bringing a larger group and require parking for Coaches or Minibuses you must contact us in advance to arrange parking. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee coach parking will be available unless you contact us in advance to arrange it
We are not able to guarantee exclusive use of one of our party rooms for your group during your visit, although we will always do our best to accommodate this
We do not offer a group booking discount during our park opening hours. Discounted tickets are available for schools visiting during term time, please see our website for information and prices
School Visits & Parties
Bookings for School Visits and Parties are subject to these general Terms and Conditions for Cattle Country Farm Park. The Host/Organiser agrees to these terms on behalf of each person within their booking. Gift Tickets
If you have a Gift Ticket or Free Entry ticket, please select Redeem Gifted Ticket (£0) and the number of Gift/Free tickets you have
You must bring your Gift Ticket or Free Entry ticket with you when you visit and hand it to Admissions on arrival. Anyone arriving without a Gift Ticket or Free Entry ticket will be required to purchase tickets before entering the park
Since 30th September 2021 we no longer accept the old-style bright blue Free Entry tickets (with the old Cattle Country logo on). These were replaced with new Gift Tickets or Free Entry Tickets in November 2020
Lost property
It is your responsibility to make sure you have all of your belongings with you before leaving the park
We keep items of lost property (clothing, footwear, mobile phones/accessories and sentimental/valuable items) for one month before donating to charity. For hygiene reasons we do not keep water/baby bottles, lunchboxes and so on
If you have lost something, please report it in the Gift Shop on the day or email info@cattlecountry.co.uk within 24 hours
If we have found the item, we will arrange for it to be collected at a convenient time. We are unable to post out Lost Property items
