School Visits

Take your learning outside!

What’s Included?

🐮 Animal ‘Walk and Talk’

Lasting around 30 minutes, this educational session is led by one of our expert Animal Care team members. The session introduces the different animals we keep, explains what we do to make sure they are happy and healthy and explains the role of farmers in food production.

Covering something related in class? If you are learning about something linked to food and farming, we’d love to try incorporate this in our session. Let us know at the point of booking and we’ll see what we can do!

🐑 Animal Barn and Farm Trail

Meet everything from guinea-pigs to rare breed sheep!

🐑 Animal Feeding

Each group will be provided with animal food (pellets) which can be used to feed the livestock in our Animal Barn and along the Farm Trail.

🤸 Access to our two HUGE indoor play barns

The ever popular Slide Barn can be found at the top of the Farm Park. Home to our giant drop slide, this area is often a firm favourite with school groups.

The Cowshed can be found at the heart of the Farm Park. Packed with innovative technology, three levels of indoor play and two dedicated areas for children under five, this area is a HUGE hit with our visitors.

*you will be allocated a time for your group to use each indoor play barn meaning that it will only be your group in that area at the allocated time.

🪣 The Sand Barn

Construction themed and LOTS of fun!

🏰 Acres of outdoor play

Whether it’s challenging yourself to climb as high as you can on the pyramid net or helping each other ride the zip-wire, our outdoor play areas are brilliant for making memorable experiences with your class.

🎒 Bag storage and lunch area

The Farm Park will be closed to the general public on the day of your visit, so you are welcome to use our marquee area to store bags and eat your lunch.
