The summer holidays aren’t complete without a visit to Cattle Country…

From Saturday 20th July to Monday 2nd September 2024 we’re open every day, 10am - 5pm.

Whatever the weather, we’ve got lots to fill your day!

Summer Favourites…

Animal Petting

Get up close to some of our fluffiest animals!
Head to the Animal Barn to meet our Double Lionhead rabbits, new Flemish Giant rabbits, guinea pigs and chickens.
When? 11am, 1pm and 3pm
Good to know: Included in the cost of admission
*If temperatures exceed 23°C we will run an alternative activity to protect the welfare of our rabbits and guinea pigs*
Climbing Net

Can you conquer the tallest climbing net in the country? At 14 meters high, the views from the top are spectacular!
When? 1pm - 4pm
Good to know: All climbers must be wearing sensible, secure footwear to take part - no crocs!
Minimum age 5, minimum height 115cm.
Included in the cost of admission.
Tractor & Trailer Tours

Hop aboard and take a tour around the farm!
Our team take you out into the farm, explaining what we do as farmers and introducing you to some of our most impressive residents.
When? Every 30 minutes, from 10.30am
Good to know: Book this activity at The Gift Shop, £2 per person. Tickets are non-refundable.
*As we are a working farm, there are some days that this activity is unable to run*
Farm Trail

Follow the path and meet our animals!
Greedy goats, silly alpacas and playful pigs are just some of the characters you can expect to meet.
When? Open all day
Good to know: Animal feeding is fantastic fun but you’ll need some of our special food - pick it up at The Gift Shop when you arrive, £2.50/bag. The trail itself is included in the cost of admission.
Boating Lake

Our Boating Lake is perfect for beginners, so grab a paddle and head out onto the water!
When? 11am - 4pm
Good to know: Minimum age 3, minimum height 100cm, one adult required per boat.

The Cowshed

“The best soft play in Gloucestershire”
Packed with innovative technology, three levels of indoor play equipment and two dedicated areas for children under five, this area is a HUGE hit with our visitors.
When? Open all day
Good to know: Please make sure you have clean socks to wear in this area. Adults can grab a coffee from the kiosk inside and enjoy the air conditioning while kids explore.

Sand Barn

Let little imaginations run wild in our construction-themed sand barn.
When? Open all day
Good to know: Please take off shoes and socks before entering. Brushes are available to remove sand from toes and pushchairs before you leave.

Splash Pool

Everyone’s favourite warm weather activity is once again open for the season!
When? 11am - 4.30pm
Good to know: Pack your swimming gear (including swim nappies) to enjoy this activity.
Included in the cost of admission.
Sheep Racing

Head over to our special race track to watch our woolly athletes compete in a race to reach their favourite reward – food!
When? 10.30am. To avoid the warmest parts of the day, this activity is only able to run in the morning.
